A Happy Colorado Customer...

We have adopted two Labrador Retrievers - a chocolate named Hunter…and a yellow named Raleigh… We live on 6.9 acres bordered by National Forest. Hunter and Raleigh were fine for the first month - no wandering off. However, on the 31st day after the adoption, both ran off and were picked up by animal control. We bailed them out…We then researched the various locator services - Romeo, Zoombak, Global Pet Finder and PetSafe GPS Locator... [click here for happy ending]

We live in a mountainous region and get sporadic cell phone coverage. After comparing the options we decided to go with the PetSafe GPS system. Since we have had the system, Hunter and Raleigh have wandered off three times and with the help of Gail and Kim [in the PetSafe Customer Care Call Center] we have retrieved them all three times.

While you're out for a walk...

As soon as Joan saw the empty leash, she sprang into action. She called the PetTrack Center at PetSafe and, within moments Sparky was being tracked via GPS. The PetSafe Customer Care Specialist stayed on the phone with Joan while she and Noah drove through their neighborhood, carefully following the Customer Care Specialist's directions. In less than 7 minutes, Joan and Noah spotted Sparky trying to nudge his way into a game of catch with a few of the kids in the neighborhood.

While you're away on vacation...

Sam and Janice were camping lakeside with Maverick two states away from home. Since Maverick always comes when called, they didn't bother to put on his leash while he explored the resort. The next thing they knew, he was gone... [click here for happy ending]

At first, Janice began to panic because she hadn't yet established a new Home Zone™ for Maverick at the lake. Then she remembered that she could call the PetTrack Center at PetSafe and they could switch Maverick's unit into Locate Mode and begin tracking him. Sure enough, a Customer Care Specialist located Maverick and began directing Sam and Janice toward him. After a twenty-minute hike through some challenging terrain, Sam and Janice found their best pal begging for scraps from a family on a picnic.

From your own home...

Polly was very careful not to answer her door unless she had hold of her eight-month-old puppy's collar. But when Polly's sister came to visit, she answered the door without thinking and Bijou raced past her and down the street before she could stop him... [click here for happy ending]

Luckily, Bijou was wearing his PetSafe^® GPS Locator collar. By the time Polly's sister called Polly at work to tell her the news, a Customer Care Specialist had already contacted Polly by cell phone and email to let her know that a boundary violation had taken place. The Customer Care Specialist then began to track Bijou and was able to help Polly's sister track and locate the now-scared pup, who was hiding under a bush along a well-traveled road.
